Has anyone placed an order online through IKEA? I placed an order a while back for desks. Everything says it’s still processing. but also delivering today. ‍♀️. I call and I don’t get any people. Usually I get a delivery confirmation email but haven’t. Anyone else waiting on IKEA items?

I ordered at the end of March and it took 10 days for me to get a “your item has been shipped” email.

@damian did it come? Mine was ordered 4/9. Says it will be delivered today on the status webpage. But I haven’t gotten an email. Seems out of sync.

@overelaborate0 ya mine was here a couple days after the shipping email came. Although I’ve seen a couple posts in my various groups of other people having issues with their ikea deliveries as of late.

@damian ok. Thank you. Well that’s good to know. It may still come just late. It’s to be expected. I’m sure they are doing their best during these unusual times.

I’ve been trying to place an order for a couch, and for some reason even though it says in stock on the item page it won’t let me finish the transaction. They must be having issues with shipping and fulfillment at the moment.

I had a huge ordeal with an online order with ikea about 6 months ago. Things were delivered, not when they said they would be, and not everything we ordered. Calling them was useless- when I actually got a person instead of a “we’re sorry we’re having a lot of calls right now, call back later” message, the person would put me on hold and then a few minutes later I’d get the same message. It was so frustrating. I posted about it all over their social media pages and sent many messages to them- if I got a response at all it was an “we’re working on it”. Their social media had many similar complaints. Eventually I took it up with my credit card and disputed the charges. I hope your issue is quickly resolved and just due to shelter in place, but in my experience it might just be how ikea operates, unfortunately.

@yee3 my husband has also had this lackluster experience. Twice had to use credit card disputes.

I placed an order and got a late May delivery date. Then I got an email stating it was canceled.
