Question

Is anyone familiar with online costco ordering? I managed to get a delivery time for this weekend. I added a dollar amount tip vs a %. Since then I’ve added a bunch of items I realized we also need but it won’t let me change the tip to be a percentage. Is there a way to edit this part after you submit the initial order or do I just hope someone accepts it with a lower tip percentage and then tip additionally in cash?

I had the same question and found out there is no way to change the tip until after the order is delivered. Seems strange that it works that way.

@berghoff why dont you just leave them behind and go out yourself. then, because you've risked exposure to COVID, you'll need to quarantine yourself for 2 weeks to ensure your kids don't get exposed

We have ordered from Costco twice and don’t change the tip online but leave cash in a ziploc on our door for them at delivery. We haven’t had a problem doing it that way.

Maybe just give the person who brings the order to your car a cash tip.

With Instacart from what I know you can add more of a tip up to five days after delivery. Not sure how that works, but that’s what I heard.
