They're usually at the reptile expo at DuPage county fairgrounds once a month, but they're incredibly labor-intensive and they need a lot of care. They're definitely not a good starter pet

I've been begging my husband to let me get one and if I do it will be from the breeder above. She has a hedgehog 101 class to teach you how to care for it and even sells kits for their housing.

I recommend morning star too. But a heads up a hedgehog is a lot of maintenance.
