My little girl (ok, not so little) is turning 8 at the end of June. I would love to plan something for her birthday with her friends, but socially distant. We’ve already done a Zoom painting party with our Brownie troop and plan on a car parade. Have you heard of other unique ways to virtually celebrate that may also help struggling local businesses? Thanks!

Maybe a virtual cookie or cupcake decorating party? I’m sure local bakeries are offering. I think there’s a local donut place that has decorate your own donuts.

Just a thought, by the end of June you should be able to have a small 10 person gathering.

End of June, you should be fine to have something. Even if it's just in the backyard and they are all sitting in a large circle!

A friend invited us to their court for their daughters birthday and Kona snow cones will be there. Or maybe your local ice cream truck makes an appearance?

A friend is hiring an ice cream truck and inviting friends to drive by and eat (from a distance). Families will go up one at a time so stay safe :)

If the weather is nice maybe do an outdoor movie where friends can still be together, but be 6 ft apart.

Pottery Bayou is doing paint your own pottery at home. I’m sure they’d LOVE to set up for a group. They’ve gone down to almost no business
