Help!  I’m interviewing for a creative director position and I’m being asked to pitch a marketing plan as part of the process.Help! Does anyone have or know where I can grab a quick NDA form or creative copyright protection so my ideas aren’t used unless I’m hired?

Smart of you to do this! I had this happen in a Marketing position I applied for years ago. They had me pitch all my marketing ideas/social media plans and then didn’t hire me but used them all ‍♀️ so frustrating! Good luck in the interview process

if this is a small business and you feel nervous about them using this as a way to take ideas, maybe it's not a great fit. Large companies would not out right "steal" ideas as you would have the proof on your computer and such and they could just pay you for the idea. Somethings to think about, if you think a company would "steal" from people they interview, do you want to work for them?

They may want a mutual NDA if they have provided (or you are using) any of their IP. Always start with the agreement that protects you prior to presenting anything mutual, but if you have any of their IP, you might want to consider making the NDA mutual.

That is an unacceptable ask. I work in this industry and that is not standard procedure. They should be asking you to present your portfolio.
