Kiddos with young toddlers/toddlers, how often do your child play with their train table? Are they worth it if one is given to us for free? It would take a chunk of space in our loft so that’s why I’m apprehensive. How often does it just sit there for toy storage? Thanks!

If you end up not getting use out of it can always pay it forward and gift to someone else

I think that it totally depends on the kiddo. My son has played with anyone he has found from as young as he could play with it to this day (he’s almost 6) From my standpoint and for my son. It would have been totally worth it.

My son loves his! We had a bin to move the train tracks to and he used the table for cars, Legos, coloring. Literally his favorite thing was the table!

My kids loved the train table and would play with anything on it. Plus it’s great for little ones learning to walk. Well worth it!

As they get older, it can turn into a Lego table, which is very helpful

We have a train table. my tots have always preferred building on the floor, as it is small and can be hard to fit their creations on it

My son got his for christmas when he was 18 months. Now at 4. 5 he will still play with it from time to time. I'm also loving the lego table idea I read above as he's getting older and has his little sister crawling around

Mine used his quite a bit. He’s now 6 and uses it to build legos at/on

Our train set ended up just taking up space. The two things I wish I’d got years earlier are the trampoline and the Barbie dream house. So much use out of both of them. If it’s free, go for it. If it ends up not being used you can pass it on to someone else.

Beware, monkey children like mine use it as a launching pad

My 5 & 3 year old still play with it a lot. When they are tired of the trains they take them down and make it into a lego table or other toys

We have one with a cover that can be used for dry erase markers. We get 3 uses out of it. Train, art, and we play magnet tiles on top of the cover as well. Worth it for us.

My youngest is 10, and now has her doll house nestled on it. Uses is often! Will depend on your kiddo. Easy to get rid of if they don’t use it!
