It’s not a super active group but there are lots of recipes and advice to look though if you search and the admins still do rounds from time to time

Make double batches of everything! I could eat breakfast for every meal of my life but I know some people get sick of eggs.

Get an immersion blender so you can make ALL the sauces.

Ghee is your friend! Cauliflower rice! I keep hard boiled eggs in the fridge for a quick breakfast item There are good whole30 approved mayos Pinterest for great recipes. Don’t be afraid to eat out, just plan ahead by looking at the menu. Take ghee with you if you need butter on steamed or grilled veggies or a potato/sweet potato. Take your own dressing for salads. Try to keep nuts and seeds around for snacking. I even took some to the movies in lieu of popcorn. Oh, and definitely take the time for the reintroduction phases at the end otherwise you lose some of the benefit. It’s so great to know how your body reacts to different things. I didn’t do that the first two times because I was so ready to be done. The third time was the charm.

^ Great advise! Recently finished my second round of W30. I am in the car a lot so I always keep RX Bars on hand at all times. They have saved me many times when I was starving and ready to crack. Also, I highly recommend having the Whole 30 book on hand and reading it prior to starting. The tips for what to expect each day were really helpful in understanding why I was feeling certain things throughout. Meijer now sells some Whole 30 salad dressings by Primal for way cheaper than anywhere else. Chipotle is a good place to get a meal during Whole 30. Last, but most important, this is much more of a mental thing than anything else. Once you decide you’re going to go the entire 30 days, you will make it! Don’t doubt yourself or give yourself any excuses! Seriously the best thing I ever did for myself. good luck to you!

Always have something quick you can heat up or put together. rx bars were good in a pinch or an apple with almond butter just be careful with labels because not all are compliant! I planned each week at a time and prepped twice a week and it helped to stay organized and less likely to stray from the plan when you have everything prepared. Good luck! I ended up really enjoying doing it and my family enjoyed it too! If your family isn’t on board they can make changes to the recipe like adding cheese or rice or something and you are all eating the same meal still. Hope this helps!

You’ve got this! You will get into your own rhythm and find your go-to’s. I started following therealfoodrds on Instagram and they have a ton of awesome recipes some are paleo but can be changed around. Found lots of recipes on Pinterest too! Whole Foods has compliant bacon  and if you like a little spice I really loved some of the paleo powder spices they have there I think the pink one was my favorite. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

Plan, plan, plan. Tons of recipes on Whole 30 and tell everyone you are doing it for accountability. If possible, have a friend to do it with you. Take it day by day and don’t get overwhelmed. Always have a stash of compliant snacks so you don’t slip. I always had almonds on me just in case. Chomps (from Trader Joe’s) are awesome.

Meal prepping is key! I’ve done multiple rounds including a whole 100 and 180. Planning ahead ensures success and Chipotle is your go to when you want to eat out

Did it twice. Get the book and try the recipes. Cauliflower mash recipe is delish and goes great with the stuffed pepper recipe. You can make the mayo and most sauces in a food processor. Ghee is a must for recipes too. Grilled shrimp and zucchini noodles is another favorite and easy to make. We used sweet potato sliced in place of buns for burgers. Seriously you need the book and plan your meals on Sunday for the week.
