Hit me with names (or links) to your best outdoor toys for a 5 year old girl - besides a bike. Scooter? Roller blades. Too young? We love to be active- throw em at me.  Or backyard outdoor toys. We have a single trampoline she doesn’t care much for. Thank you so much!  Hope you’re enjoying alllll this fresh air and sunshine today! Such a mood lifter! ☀️☀️

They have training roller skates-you slip your food with your shoes on in them. My 4 year old son has been testing those out this week (his sisters are both roller blading a lot currently)

Those are terrible for my kids. They do much better with the ones that actually go on their feet. FWIW ‍♀️

@jacobina for your kids, are they doing skates or rollerblades? My 5 year old really wants me to “roll”/skate in some fashion. ☺️

@jacobina good to know- thank you! I’m sure all kids are different- so hard to know what to invest in and what they will take to!  Appreciate your feedback/experience

@thornton my oldest does roller blades and my 4yo does the roller skates but we think he may have an easier time in the blades. We just haven't tried them with him because. I think they dont sell them in his size? Either that, or it would be a big investment for something he may not like. I don't remember which, it's been a while since I've looked at them.

@jacobina thank you! I didn’t even realize skates and blades are different prices. My 5 year old is my oldest. But that makes sense. Thank you for the input. I know she really wants to skate in some capacity.

I'm not sure if there's a huge price difference, but when I was looking, we were just renting from the roller rink.

Stuff for obstacle courses. Mini cones, hula hoops, etc? Mine also love their scooters.

This one is technically an indoor style, but you can get ones that are good for outdoors.

My kids love their beamos, big, super light flying discs. My 5 year old can throw with us bigger people just fine.

Jump rope, regular roller skates (we just got our daughter some from amazon), soccer ball with net, obstacle course from Pinterest (lots of ones with objects you can easily find at your house already or the chalk version ones for the driveway/sidewalk)
