Question

Haven’t lived here long but just heard tornado sirens, I think. Are they testing them or is there some other emergency I should be aware of?

@melgar71 Thanks, I grew up in Oklahoma where they test every single Saturday of the year at noon unless there is severe weather in the area but I had not really heard it here. With everything else going on I wasn’t sure how many emergencies we may begin practicing for!

@paternal aww. We don't really get as many storms as OK either Thankfully. My uncle lives there and tells me about them. :) It's all good. Just once a month. This city is good. Good people who are always ready and willing to help each other out. You will see if God Forbid you ever need it.

Don't be alarmed. Tornado Testing is always in the am the first Tues of each month.

Thanks everyone! Normally I would’ve just assumed that’s what it was but I’m feeling really out of place right now! Nothing is working the way it supposed to!
