Question

I am a DCFS frontline staff with autoimmune disease. Does anyone have an N95 mask I can purchase or know where I can get one before Monday?

DCFS, a state agency, isn't providing it's front line staff with PPE? I'm sorry, but that doesn't seem plausible. I am a police officer in a small town in McHenry County, and we have all the PPE we need. Last week, I went on an investigation with a DCFS investigator out of the Woodstock office, and she was well-situated with PPE. What gives?

@anchorage I’m sorry I saw that after I responded. Can you ask your office to get you one? I don’t blame you, I wouldn’t feel comfortable going in a hospital without one! Good luck, God Bless you!

@pascoe I am hoping to get one from work, but one will not be enough. Someone donated two to me, so I am okay for now. At least when I leave for work on Monday, I will have one. I was on FMLA, but have to return to work now. Not sure there are any left.

@anchorage make sure you have the right size for yourself. Seeing men with beards and N95’s or small faced people with large N95 masks defeats the purpose of having one at all.
