Question ladies.  Our wedding is in October (fingers crossed), and we’re providing all our own alcohol for our reception.Question ladies. I was thinking of renting a fountain pop machine but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with one. Suggestions welcomed!

My step-brother just did this. They had an ice-sculpture in the letter of their last name with a stopper spout and it held their NA "cocktail. "

I think the idea of a fountain pop machine is neat; however depending on your venue it may stick out and be commercial looking?

You could just buy things like non-alcoholic beer and non-alcoholic wine. Binny's has a great selection.

How many people are you having? If it’s over 150 I would recommend 2 bartenders and 1 person to go around and clear tables of empty’s and other trash. There are companies that you can hire that will provide bartenders/servers.

We’re expecting close to 200. And we do have bartenders. I’m thinking about putting the fountain machine behind the bar, if we go that route.

I bartended a wedding that provided their own alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and they set up tubs of canned soda that the bartenders would pour for the guests

@annatto Krakow how many people? I’m just wondering if a machine would be more cost effective and not have to buy a bunch of canned pop

We did exactly this for our wedding. The cans were easy for our bartenders to pour.
