I have an almost 10 month old daughter, she has very fair skin and red hair. Her dad burns so easy and I do too but I ran more than burn. What’s a good sunscreen you all would recommend for a baby? Thanks MOMMYS!

I like sunbum, think baby and badger. They are all mineral ones. I feel like the sunbum face stick goes on much easier and requires less rubbing than the Babyganics one and some of the others .

Girl. Same. We lather this one up in babyganics and try to keep a hat on her at all times. We also have canopies in our backyard over the sandbox and the pool when needed. And long sleeve swimsuits when she cooperates

Whatever you use put it on 20-30 min a head of time and reapply multiple times.

My daughter has a mole and can only use the safest sunscreens. Dermatologists for moles and such say that Blue Lizard and Think Baby are the best, least toxic, and since using them, we have had no burns. My older two that I used regular sunscreens on, have been burnt.

@tootle6 second vote for Think Baby. I don’t care for the smell but it works. My little burned with babyganics

Thanks mommy’s! I bought thinkbaby and put it on her before we left! The only think that I didn’t like about it first hand was the stickiness and how easy it soaked into my hands. We’ll see how it works and we’ll know what to did after that!

I’m late here, but check out badger baby. It’s a zinc sunblock and rated one of the safest by EWG, if toxins are a concern. It goes on very thick, so I feel like I’m really getting my money worth.

Im a redhead and come from a family of redheads. I have burnt my whole life. They key isn't really the brand. Its the SPF number (but really anything over 30 is fine) and its how often you reapply and how far in advance you apply before going outside and it is using lotion and not spray.

Also hats and protective clothing helps a lot too!

We used nutragina baby. however we also tried to use barriers instead. babies don’t sweat the same. so covering them with sunscreen everywhere isn’t great. Hat with a big brim. light long sleeve shirt. extended canopy on the stroller.

We’ve been using ThinkBaby for our super fair skinned 8 month old baby! We were in the pool for 6 hours yesterday- reapplied once and he didn’t burn at all. It’s thick and has great coverage.
