Another unemployment question.  I have a 18 month old.Another unemployment question. I have a 18 month old. Do I claim him under unemployment or is that just a child that is working that you claim? To get them money? Thanks I know nothing about this!

No you claim them as a dependent

They give you a little bit more money when you claim a child.

What if I already filed? Do I have to resubmit a claim? I can’t get anyone when I call.

@breeches7338 it will give you an initial decision without the dependent. Then if or when you certify then there is a question that asks about your dependency status and you can change it there. Then someone will likely call you or set up the interview to call you
