Negotiate price BEFORE you tell them you aren’t financing through them.

They don’t negotiate their prices at Carmax. We bought my husbands car from them and had a great experience. We did buy the extended warranty. Have had to use it a couple times for minor things. It was easy and hassle free. Would buy from them again.

I have gotten my cars from there for the last 15 years or so and some are great cars and some are lemons! Make sure you grab that extended warranty. My car had thousands of dollars in repairs over the last 2 years and all of it was covered by Chrysler or the extended warranty.

We bought a car through them and were very happy. We purchased the extended warranty because we could only afford a higher mileage vehicle. It ended up paying for about $8, 000 worth of repairs over the 6 years we owned it. I would absolutely buy from them again

After doing research I personally found them over priced vs what i negotiated for.

I would buy from them again! But definitely wouldn’t use them to trade in a car because they offer way under what you can get elsewhere

They are easy to do work with but they do charge more than private market and pay less for trade ins. But if yuy literally want no hassle or haggling Carmax (or Carvana) is the way to go. Get the extended warranty for sure

We're on our third car from them and LOVE them! Always great service, deals and the cars are still going strong.
