You should still be budgeting categories so the envelopes are "virtual". The system doesn't change it's just cashless. So you will still track your spending in the various envelope categories and still tally it up at the end of the budget cycle. Just no cash to mess around with. Does that make sense, it's early and I am still on my first cuppa
