caution. Check Reddit for stories on discrepancy on the refund. People are claiming turbo tax has been able to get them more refund.

I’ll keep an eye out! Honestly I’m going to do my taxes by hand and then see what the software gives me. As long as they match, I’m going with it. A software can’t give more or less of a refund unless they don’t ask certain questions or people don’t answer them correctly ♀️

Question about doing own taxes - my husband and I usually pay a tax professional to do our taxes , the guy we use is familiar with doing taxes for law enforcement so before the reform he helped us with the deductions we could get , but now since you can’t do as much of that I’m considering saving the expense and doing it ourselves .
