Eat before going out. If you're the one planning- know where the happy hours and nightly specials are. Don't spend money on anything you don't want to- if the beer menu sucks, drink water.

Coffee before regular meals for sure. Even at a cafe, you can order the cheapest thing and not stand out.

Get a work out in together instead. A run is always free or take a guest to your gym.

We have a couple where the husbands are going to school together. So, we have dinner at each other’s houses and the boys go to school and we hang out and drink wine at home. So, my suggestion is to start a dinner party rotation where you take turns cooking for each other.

Pizza and board games night! You can make a pizza dough for less than $5 for 10 people. Toppings are another $15-$20. That’s less than $3/person
