I started using betterment at the beginning of this year. So far so good. I don’t have much money in there but that also means I haven’t lost much compared to some of my friends I’ve spoken to. I also like that they tell me if I’m on track or not and how to get on track for my goals

I've had betterment and wealthfront. Got rid of wealthfront because results weren't as good as betterment.

I've used wealthfront, wise banyan, betterment, coin flash, and M1. stuck with wealthfont for my IRA, and M1 for my taxable. Haven't used coin flash in years, but unless they've changed their policies highly advise you avoid.

No. I'm my own advisor since I wanna reach FIRE. If I have questions, I consult the Betterment cohort or a person but take that advice with a grain of salt.

I’ve been using betterment for about 6 years now. I just opened M1 last week, so far so good. M1 for long term investment using Golden Butterfly strategy, Betterment for older IRAs and shorter term goals

Question about doing own taxes - my husband and I usually pay a tax professional to do our taxes , the guy we use is familiar with doing taxes for law enforcement so before the reform he helped us with the deductions we could get , but now since you can’t do as much of that I’m considering saving the expense and doing it ourselves .
