Our dogs have discovered a bunny nest in our yard, they haven't hurt them yet but I cannot let them out without watching them and scolding them everytime they go near it. Any ideas of what to do? Don't want the bunnies harmed.

Chicken wire might work as far as making a barrier around it, just be sure to cut out a whole or some way for the mom to get back to it

We have put laundry baskets over ours before (upside down), bunnies can still get out when they need to!

Last year I built a box to cover it with enough room for mom to get in and out. I checked on them every day until their eyes opened. Then the next day they all just jumped off and they were off into the field. When their eyes open they're ready to go. I think we have more now, I saw a big bunny digging a giant hole the other day.

I put a milk crate with a large rock on it over them until an hour before sunset.

I had the same problem last year. I relocated the bunnies out of his reach and brought the coverings. I’m not sure of the outcome, but the alternative would have been worse. ‍♀️

I have a gate I used but we had to open every night for the mom to come in if you want to borrow it.

I used to make a border of upside down chairs. But still had to watch my dogs like a hawk.

We have the same issue. so I cut an opening in an old basket then taped the edges so the bunny doesn’t get hurt.

I have chairs around mine. I watch the dogs when I let them out. I just knock on the door or say no. I had to save them from the flood Sunday. They are back in the nest safe.
