Hi moms!  Looking for suggestions on mini vacations for a family of four (8 year old twin boys) preferably within a 4-5 hour drive from here.Hi moms! What are you favorite locations with a decent amount to do and good food?

St. Louis has so much to do. City Museum, the Arch, zoo, Grant’s Farm, Magic House, brewery tours, ballpark tour. It’s one of my favorite cities.

Another vote for STL! It is a super easy drive, IMO My parents live there and we always enjoy finding new things to do there that are kid-friendly and don't cost a lot! Just to name a few: Zoo (FREE) The Magic House City Museum Grant's Farm The Muny (in summer) Science Center

We LOVE Lake Geneva for a mini getaway. We stay at The Cove. They have a great outdoor pool, walking distance to everything! We mini golf, hit the beach.

Mears Michigan. Silver Lake State Park. Lots of fun!

We are doing Cincinatti Ohio this year. There is a cool aqaurium, zoo, and Kings Island, Coney Island, etc! :)

Milwaukee! We love it and our kids did too.
