I have a keypad that just sounds terrible- sometimes I can’t even hear that I’m entering the code, etc. It is in the garage (it’s a bit cooler out there). Would a lower temperature have that affect on a key pad (permanently, not just when it’s cold)? Or do I have a lemon perhaps? Thanks

It’s a known problem with the keypads. Call ring and they will send a new one

Also, you can turn up the volume on the keypad.

Tried that. No change.

Perhaps try bringing it in for a day, see if that helps. Process of elimination. And go from there

I called in as suggested. They walked me through a factory reset. Voila. no sound at all? So, they are going to send me a new one (and a return package to send this one back). There is something wrong with it for sure.

My keypad went bad about 6 months after install. They sent a new one out quickly and I sent old one back in. All is good now.
