About 75% of the time when we get an alert for our doorbell pro, we can’t see the video right away in the app because it says video processing. The processing can take up to 2-3 min (rendering ring useless). Our WiFi and router is in the same room as the front door, about 15 unobstructed feet away. Anyone know what is up with this? We previously had a 1st gen ring doorbell and never had this issue.

If you don't answer the live feed, it does take 15 - 30 seconds to process for playback on wifi. If you are out of the house it will take longer because you are at the mercy of your cell provider's network speed.

@lemur No, out of the home operates on your cell service provider's network, not ISP.

We can't see notifications for 2 minutes. I blame our SLOW internet.

ALL of these comments just underlines the fact that our Ring devices (GENERALLY) don’t live up to the capabilities with the speed and utility as advertised

I had several Ring devices around my house but after experiencing all of the connectivity issues and resolution strategies, I replaced all of them withe Blink devices EXCEPT my driveway Spotlight cam (it works reliably) Comparison; Blinks work well (they are uncomplicated) they are less expensive if you look around (eBay, amazon and other online stores). The monitoring is free ( CHECK your Ring monitoring costs) . If you just want to have a seamless way to assert and solve your concerns . for me. the Blink solves those challenges

If you answer the notification it takes you to the Live feed. That comes up relatively quickly. You don't want to go to recorded videos. there it will only show up once it uploads and processes.

Make sure you have a new router and then call Ring and ask about the eero pro offer
