What devices does everyone have? i have video doorbell 2, Ring Alarm and a chime. (alexa will alert me if doorbell is rung

It's good to understand that Ring is really three systems- alarm, surveillance, and lighting. although they all interact and you see all parts in your Ring app, they are really three distinct classes of gear, each with it's quirks. Alexa is not really Ring but can help you operate the system, especially if you use Alexa already. right now Alexa is not welcome in our home. so I got some of each. installation is easy as advertised, to get the most out of the three systems took months for my one Ring to rule them all
