I needed to change the password on my WiFi (At&t) router and naturally I’m having issues reconnecting the doorbell. Is there a place I’m not seeing where I can put in the new pw for the doorbell in the app? Thanks

I just did mine. I just installed it again as a new device.

@robby I’ve been trying that route also. So far no good. ‍♂️

@sarena Perhaps uninstall the app and start all over again. Failing that call Ring

@robby I’ll try that thanks

You have to hit the reset button on your devices again and reset in the app. Pain in butt, but has to find and reconnect to the router . Have fun

@sakai did the side button reset. But how do ya reset it in the app? I’m re downloading the app now

Be by your device, use the app to reset and follow directions. Just like you did to first connect your devices.

Oops I also had VPN running on my phone so that could be the issue too

@robby AGAIN? Makes it sound like I stopped.

@sarena you have to go to your app, remove the device, then add device and follow directions like it is new so the new router can get and add address of your device.

You have to reset the doorbell. Then add it in the app as a new device.

Ring keeps saying the WiFi password was entered incorrectly but it’s not giving me a place to enter it in the first place

You have to do a reset of your doorbell or remove and add new device whichever is easiest for you.

Go back to “settings” and WiFi select the Ring device and it should tie into the new WiFi.

I figures out why it wouldn’t connect. When it says last time you connected to (fill in your WiFi) it was using the old password. So this time I clicked no and then selected the WiFi I wanted and then put in the new password. Thanks for helping out everyone.
