Question what smart locks work with ring alarm the best?

I’ve heard many give Schlage good reviews. I use one myself, but linked to HomeKit.

I have used Kwikset for quite a few years without issues. Zwave with Wink2 hub. 4 AA batteries (I use Lithium) last a long time.

I like the Yale Assure. Much nicer keypad than the Schlague imo. glass touchscreen.

Schlage Sense. Been using it for three years now on multiple doors. Works great and lasts a long time on 4 AA batteries.

Kwikset 916 Zwave. Just installed and it works great. Have some routines set up with Alexa which is nice. We have lever handle entry doors and my dog is smart enough to know how to open them. So I have a routine where the deadbolt automatically locks 5 seconds after the door is closed.

@purser i heard u can have the lock set to automatically lock.

@kutuzov you can, but the problem with that is it will lock even if the door is open. I didn’t want to lock to Activate while the door was open, so I set it to trigger off of the ring sensor. So when the door is closed it waits five seconds and then locks

I went with the nest digital lock. with key override
