Help!  My spotlight camera battery has been fully charged.Help! My spotlight camera battery has been fully charged. Showing all green. I place it in the camera and it is showing only 2% charge. I’ve tried different outlets, plugs, etc. with no luck. Using the cord that was sent with the Ring battery when I bought the camera. Bought the camera seven months ago. Has anyone had this problem?

Sometimes it takes a while to register in the app.

Open and close the camera again and give it 5 minutes or so then try to access the camera. The battery level should update once the image shows.

Changes don’t always immediately show within the app. The health check for the camera is done at random times.

Thanks. I tried that and even let the camera sit several days with the battery fully charged inside camera and nothing happened. Just contacted Ring customer service. The solid red light when opening the camera indicated the battery was fully charged when installed (if the red was blinking it would have meant battery was dead). He walked through several steps of troubleshooting the camera and the camera would not turn on and respond. He concluded the actual camera was faulty. They are sending me a new one since I was within my one year warranty. It will be here in 3-5 business days. Nice thing is that my one year warranty will start fresh when I connect this new device to the internet upon setting it up.
