Anyone have problems with a Ring Solar attachment Flood Light not charging the batteries? I just purchased one from Ring and notice I only have 1/2 battery remaining after 3 days. The solar panel gets over 4hrs. of sunlight each day, so there shouldn't be a problem. Comments or suggestions.

I’m assuming you mean the spotlight, as the floodlight does not come in a battery version. I’ve twice had a problem where my solar panel quit working. On the one occasion I switched my one battery into the other open compartment and that fixed the problem. On the second occasion, I called Ring and they sent me a free solar panel replacement. Good luck!

@knotts89 have you checked if the solar panel is producing voltage? You may also reinstall the solar power plug it is a tight fit and you will have to put a little pressure on it so it will seat before installing the screws

If you have snapshot turned on to the highest setting, or the motion detection pretty high then you’ll still drain the battery faster than the panel can keep up.

I think @knotts89 refers to the floodlight (light only). I haven’t had an issue, does it get a lot of motion?

I even added a second battery in the floodlight compartment and still not charging. I'll dig around some more. If I can't get it to charge, I'll call ring tech support.
