Question

I have 2 floodlights on the corners of my house that are operated by one switch. Can I replace each of those fixtures with Ring floodlight or spotlight cameras? If the switch is left in the ON position, will the cameras work independently as 2 separate units?

Yes yes and yes! I love having mine switched so if a reset is needed its quick and easy and dont need a ladder. just gotta make sure u block switch in some way so you dont flip it accident

Also I'd recommend the floodlight cams much better quality and more options

@ruthanneruthe, thank you! I already have both floodlight and spotlight cameras and love them. Based on the placement of these fixtures, I'll probably use a combination of both.
