Any solution for a metal/steel/iron door? I have a contact sensor that keeps going off line. Support says it’s the iron door. Any ideas sir a resolution.

You need something to insulate the iron door like rubber between sensor and door

Is your sensor on the same side of the door as your alarm base station?

@altamira I mean does the Zwave signal need to pass through the door to reach your base station? If this is an exterior door, is the sensor mounted to the inside?

@above exterior door. Left swing door. Sensor on the right. Base is right of the door

I have a Gen 2 alarm and the 2 sensors on metal doors have no issues. Maybe call Support?

@cordite I have. They told me to put a piece of wood under the sensor.
