I keep getting false rings on my doorbell. At different times of day, including 1:00 AM! What the heck?

I had this issue and it was the snapshot feature. It kept sending random alerts. Once I turned it off, it stopped. Also check your motion settings.

Thanks. It's not the motion alarm, that works fine. It's the actual doorbell ring. Snapshot feature? Never heard of it. Is that new?

Oh wow. Actual doorbell pushes you mean. Probably moisture or defect. Call support and they will take care of you.

Can you look back and see a pattern in the events? Used to be a Pro would hit every 10 minutes if it flicked the IR lights on and it reflected off something like vehicle taillights, so the reflection was enough to get recorded as a movement.

It's not a motion alarm, but the doorbell ring, as if someone pushed the button. There is never any motion alarm before or after, just the doorbell.

No pattern. Random times of day. It's driving the dogs crazy -- when the bell rings they expect a human they can bark at.

Video Doorbell, 2nd Generation, the $99 one. It's running on battery, not wired.
