Is there a way to deactivate a Spotlight camera (more specifically the light) during the same time every night? It's located outside of my toddler's bedroom and is distracting during the time we're putting her down to sleep.

Hardwired (technically Ring Mount).

the spotlight mount does not have a light schedule option . You can adjust the brightness or set a motion schedule for the time you put her to bed. If motion is off during that time the light should not go on.

The only motion schedule option that I see only turns off the notifications. The light etc still comes on.

motion settings > motion schedule, it will record but not send an alert notification.

did you replace an existing exterior light with the spotlight?

my spotlight is mounted by rear sliding door where a previous exterior light was, so if we go in the yard and I don’t need recording I just flip the switch that controls the light. If the camera isn’t too high you could also cover it with a cloth so it doesn’t go on and then just remove it when you are done putting your daughter to bed.
