Looking at moving hosts for Managed Dedicated Servers but we obviously want to ensure we choose a new provider with a fast server response time to improve page speed score.  Anybody using HostGator?  I’m interested in server response time, time to first byte and overall experience with support. Definitely looking for a major player and not a boutique or start up. For WP sites, we love WPEngine. I’m looking for our non WP / custom saas and other projects. Thanks in advance SEO Signal Fam!

- can have a look at Darren’s video. Would stay away from HostGator. I believe they are under EIG which is bad.

Recently moved to Liquid Web. Sales support average at best. Tech support has been excellent. Speed is better. Maybe because I finally have a 16 cores and Raid 10.
