Guys any particular keyword research tool that you'd recommend? I'm currently really short on cash so I can't afford an Ahrefs. (Please no Ubersuggest)

You can use 7$/7 days ahrefs trail for first time.

Keywords Everywhere, its a decent chrome extension and you only have to pay to see the traffic projections / CPC guesses, even then its dam cheap, like a couple of $ a month max.

Can take a trial of SEMrush to get things done -  Keywords everywhere is also a good tool. If you're looking for some long tail queries, I would suggest using Google auto suggestions along with the related keywords at the end of the search results
