Only in this group lol. My clients have been 70% men and they're very respectful of my knowledge. I think it's about building a rapport at the right level. I work well with other technically minded people, whether in finance, legal, property, medicine, electrics, building or whatever. I always feel happiest when I can banter with them and I try not to be too authoritative, but instead command respect by showing I understand their business, industry and challenges. I prove I can help them by giving solid examples and use their own industry terminology to show I can adapt. If someone questionned me too much (beyond general intrigue and passion) it would be a big red flag that they'd want to micromanage me. Just get out and walk away. Your confidence and audience targeting should eventually stop this happening.
