"sometimes that means that indeed they get the highest quality, other times it may mean that they get lower quality, but much faster. " Does this mean Google wants to see some spam meat added? ;)

I think they are hiding high-quality content from users they don't like. I keep searching for the real cure for baldness but Google never shows me one. And then I see this:

@malefaction Istanbul is a huge hub to get this procedure done cheaply. Everywhere I walked I would always see dudes with a scabby head. I had never seen it before so I had to google what it was. Of course on my flight back there were several others that just had it done as well. It reminded me of all the bandages noses in Seoul.

In Hungary the basic package is about 2500 pieces of hair. The cost of one piece of hair is: 0. 5 USD. So the basic package costs: 1250 USD. Of course, it could be more than 2500 pieces and extra care is available for more money.

A factor that almost never gets mentioned is Consistency. Imagine a website with a single article that is best in the world for its topic, and then the rest of the blog is crap. That's obviously not a site to trust overall. Like those bands that live on one Single. Who wants to buy their entire albums? A site than consistently keeps its level of quality steadily gains Google's trust to loosen up on the time factor. Up to the point that it immediately ranks new stuff from the site at the top, without a/b testing and monitoring. There are times when websites with less trust produce a piece on a fresh hot topic and then Google pushes that, with a risk of it being of less quality. Logically, better that than people finding it on Bing, lol. Basically Gary didn't say anything new. :)

Nothing was actually said of importance. Yep, we know that Google uses a lot of factors when ranking -- chief among these is a site's authority ranking, query relevance and matching, and the depth/quantity of related content. It's always been about keyword query matching, you just can't do it in a spammy way.

They mean that slower sites with great content will be ranking lower than faster sites with less great content. There's more to relevance than content quality. They clearly explain this in their Micro moments guide

Why not just transplant the hair that grows in the ears and nose to the top of head? It grows like a weed regardless how much you cut it.

It's exactly that kind of assumption (G wants more spam) that causes so many BS rumours and myths about SEO
