I have 6 cameras at a remote location. One is wired, the rest are wifi. Right now I cant reach 4 out of the 6 cameras, either through the app or web site, I can still reach 2, 1 wired and 1 wifi. I also cant reach the router. One of my cameras I cant reach is still sending out photo motion alerts. The other cameras probably didn’t have a reason to send out any alerts. I do have the router on a timer, once a night it does a power cycle. I wonder if that will restore connectivity to the other cameras… or was my router hacked? In the past, I had the Insteon device and app programmed to also view some cameras, but gave up with I had to replace the Insteon hub recently. I couldn’t get it to work. I guess I need to try to get it to work. for those who have the Insteon hub, programmed for cameras, when it asks for the ip address, does it ask for the public or private ip address? I kept trying to use the private one, but after inputting all the information, I get the failed to connect. This is my third Insteon hub. Replacing number 2, I had problems, but I forgot what I had to do to get it to work. Any thoughts.
