Get some quarter round trim and leave a small gap behind it where you can tuck the lighting.

Why not just put the lights behind the TV. It would be much more attractive and less distracting.

I’m glad the other 20000 of you thought it was still required to comment with “put the lights behind the tv” after the first 2000 comments stating the same.

Clear tubing lined with parchment paper. Thats what they use for lightsabers. Cut the tubing into 4 so you are left with just corners.

Aluminum LED extrusion with a frosted cover will help spread the light and it also helps spread the heat. I bought mine from aliexpress but I needed 200 meters. You can find it on Amazon. com too just search for aluminum extrusion led strip.

Paint wood molding the width of the strips, flat black. Tape the lights to the molding and glue the molding where the lights are now facing the back wall. You would not see the lights directly, but would still get the same effect.

Smart light switch question. I bought 4 GE Enbrighten 2nd Gen switches around the first of the year from Amazon, since then I have read many comments about them failing within a year or two and I was second guessing my decision to install them.
