I have Verizon Fios internet + tv service. And trying to use my own router. Cable box does have an Ethernet port, but it’s getting an ip. Is there way to have all services without Verizon’s router?

Yes. Look up moca bridges or tivo boxes (And lose on demand)

Need to keep on demand, so I guess keep Verizon router and set it in bridge mode.

Why not just turn off the wireless on the Verizon router, wire your router from the Verizon router, and use the wireless from that?

That will work. I’m trying to see if there is a way to bypass it, so I don’t have to pay a rental fee.

I don't think there is if you want to maintain on demand, remote access to DVR, etc.
