You've received some good advice above. To add to that, unless you're set on using the sensors in the Wyze system or otherwise love something about them (maybe the price? it comes with a cost :) ), your best bet on SmartThings, Hubitat, or HASS would be a natively supported Zigbee (a little iffy on HASS last time I used it) or Z-Wave contact sensor. SmartApps, including webCoRE, won't add much if ST (or similar automations/apps on similar hubs) can't "see" your sensor, and as you'be discovered, Wyze is pretty limiting here, with cloud options like IFTTT or Alexa (and a virtual device acting as a proxy) being one of limited ways to squeeze more full-featured automations (à la ST) out of them.
