Question

Hi people.  Thanks for the add.Hi people. Thanks for the add. I’ve been using the SmartLife app for controlling sockets, and it works fine with my Arlec smart sockets. However, 2 days ago the automated schedules refused to work (but I could still remotely turn the sockets on and off from the app! ). They are working again fine now. Question: Did this happen because a server went down in China or wherever? Or is there another reason for it? I have 7 of these sockets plus Hue lights connected to my WiFi. Should I get a Hubitat or similar? Will this cure the problem I had the other day?

Do you use Alexa or Google home also?

@excrescence yes I do the automated scheduling in the smart life app. I wondered if this data goes up into the cloud and back? If so reliant on their systems working!
