Started working on converting a Kindle Fire 10 to kiosk only mode last night. For those who have already done it, did you also go through adb and clear out factory programs that will never be used but still take up space?

I’ve never heard of Kiosk only mode. My home has two wall mounted Kindle Fires, but I simply deleted or foldered all the apps I don’t need and installed an app that forces all apps to run in landscape. Every few days amazon puts a few random book selections on the home screen which I have to clear.

Fully kiosk browser works pretty great if you happen to be displaying Action Tiles, SharpTools or Dakboard (so I hear) UI's. Very simple. Costs about $7. 50 per tablet.

Google “Amazon Fire Toolbox. ” Easy app with lots of options to get rid of most of the Amazon bloat and run a different launcher.
