I just started converting my house to smart devices two months ago with a smartthings wifi hub. Our various internet-devices would spontaneously loose connection even though signal strength is good throughout the house. I added a 2nd smartthings wifi router but still have the same problem. My wife thinks she solves the connectivity issue by rebooting the router but I think the devices just need 10+ minutes to reconnect. Anyway, we would prefer a permanent solution. The ecobee thermostat also often takes days to reconnect to the ecobee servers. although I suspect that is a separate issue. Any thoughts?

When you say WiFi devices. which devices do you mean?

@deberadeberry think he means devices connected through wifi and not plugged directly into the wireless router

Yeah, I have the same issuep. Using A Dlink router, devices become disconnected randomly as well, and have to restart, same issue with my nest. takes hours to connect back, thought i had to many devices, but only have 22 wifi connected and 4 hardwired. ill keep an eye out on this thread for possible solutions
