Question

Stupid Alexa keeps playing stuff on my kids echo instead of my fire when I’m standing right next to it. How do I fix this?

My bedroom and living room do this all the time too if I'm 6" from the bedroom it doesn't work the right location. but if I'm dead in the middle with the ceiling aiming up towards the bedroom unit it works

When you ask her to play something, tell her which device to play it on.

I find if you scream profanity at it loudly, its immensely satisfying!

There is a setting in alexa to change the default location something plays on. also I think mine will pay on the last location I told it to if no defaults are set. Also just a simple saying of "play in ***" works to
