I bought 19 of them and have the same issue. When I do get some paired, they disconnect shortly after.

Are you pairing close to the hub? All new devices should be paired within close proximity to the hub then installed in their intended location. For bulbs, use a lamp to turn off /on to reset if they were previously paired to another hub.

That’s the problem, they are Wi-Fi not Zigbee. Wi-Fi should be your last choice for home automation devices. If you can exchange them for Zigbee they will pair. If not you’ll have to use the app.

Can you pair with Alexa ? If so there is a workaround for ST.

If you can pair them with Alexa then you can get on/off control in ST using virtual switches. It looks like Osram is shutting down their cloud service in August.

You have options for Zigbee bulbs. Use bulbs in lamps and smart switches for ceiling lights. Wall switches are good repeaters of Zigbee and Zwave. You’ll need a combination of AC powered Zigbee and Zwave to support your battery powered devices. Sengled bulbs do not repeat while others do.

You’ll eventually, if you don’t already , have both Zigbee and Zwave. The discussion of the pros and cons of each is a never ending debate. By far both are better than Wi-Fi devices. Think about how you want to build networks for both and plan to have AC powered of both throughout your home. When it comes to home automation, nothing good is cheap , nothing cheap is good.

Look under "works with smart things" on the app or on their website to see if they can integrate. I personally never worked with Osram so I'm not sure.

Osram lightify is zigbee not wifi. And yes it connects to ST. You need to put the lights in pair mode by plugging in the lights and unplugging them multiple times until it turns to a different color. I dont know the exact color but look it up on how to reset the lights. I had the same issue and I had to do this.

I have several Lightify bulbs and light stripsConnected to ST And they work well. They paired easily also. As far as the sylvania gateway. they are shutting that down very soon.

It sucks because SmartThings was able to upgrade the firmware and the Lightify hub wasn't, but the the Lightify hub has a lot of cool dynamic light scenes that my kids enjoy. Can't do dynamic light displays with SmartThings, at least without them insanely over fucking complicating things
