We have quite a few smart things in our house and I think I'm just smart enough to want them, but not smart enough to know what to do to get them working the way we need to, by not buying what we should. Please be patient with me. So. lots of lutrons lights with a lutron bridge, wiring with many Google assistants. This is working okay, but saying this for later, to see if conflict, being too much. Ugh Some automatc blind running of a somfy through ifttt and some off a Hunter Douglas hub? Don't even know if these are hubs. But anyway here's my problem now and why I joined. We bought August Smart locks. So far two. One with a bridge, which after installing only worked with an extension cord with the bridge right next to the lock and the other lock, I wanted to just use my phone and Bluetooth, but it keeps falling off and I keep having to have it repair the problem. We wanted to buy more of these locks, but yikes do we have to buy a bridge for each one? If we got a Smart Thing hub, would we not need these bridges? I'm just trying to use the lock with bluetooth, in in the same room as the lock. Do we have so much stuff in our house, that our bluetooth can't work? So if this is too confusing, basically it's the locks that are my problem now. Want them hopefully working with purchasing one thing to make them wifi and also would like to know why our bluetooth would act like that. Sorry, this is alot to throw at you. Just don't want to make anymore mistake. Thankfully we both love this stuff, but I drive myself nuts trying to get it going. Yet, we don't stop adding . Oh, plus a security system may be adding to the. too much on the system. PS. Just ordered a wifi extender, hoping it will fix the issue with the bridge having to be so close to the lock.
