Slightly smart home related, what do you guys use for data storage solutions? 2020 is the year I get my storage back in order, I have pictures on multiple old drives. I want to host my Plex media so I don’t have to go wake up my computer so Plex on my Fire Stick will see the drive every time. What are you guys using for photo and movie storage? I’m thinking some type of NAS would be my best bet.

I'm in the process of building a FreeNAS- based system. It'll have 60TB of storage on the equivalent of a Raid-6 array.

Unraid. It's incredible paired with nextcloud, Plex, VM's, etc. Remember 3 2 1 for backups!
