Apologies, probably has been asked but wasn't seeing in search. Can someone give me recommendations for outdoor lighting? Looking for a simple solution to having RBG landscape lights that shine on house, that I can put on a schedule. Also change the colors as we please and for holidays, etc.

Think this was just discussed in this group recently. but Sylvania Smart+ Gardenspots are cheap and pretty great depending on your needs. Don't bother with extension kits (3 lights for 13$) just but multiple starter kits (9 lights, power supply, zigbee driver for 22$).

@likelihood I have several Sylvania Lightify devices and they work great. Are they still making them? I wasn't sure since they killed off their own hub and cloud.

@sang92 no sweat, wasn't criticizing :-) just letting you know there is a VERY long thread on the subject that should help. a lot.

@corves46 all I know is Amazon still sells them. I have bought several in the past 2 weeks. 3 Gardenspots, 8 BR30 full color, and 4 Par30 white floods. All have worked as expected.

Do you want LED strips or single spot lights? Personally, I think it's better to decouple the actual lights from the smart tech. Buy any light you want, stick a Zigbee on/off switch in series with the power and away you go. Or if you're getting RGBW lights, get a Zigbee RGBW controller. I've just installed a water feature that has LEDs. I just cut the mains cable and put a Zigbee really in. Works perfectly.

@womanhood2397 I was thinking a couple floods, but I'm open to whatever makes my house look blue, orange, pink, green, etc. Hah

Probably depends how much colour. I put an LED strip up so that you can't see the LEDs, only the glow. That casts a nice subtle glow over the back of the house. It doesn't look like a fairground but it does add some ambience. I'll see if I can find a pic. I think I took one on my tablet.

@sang92 OK, Green might not be to everyone's taste but I was just messing with the colours when I took this.

I’m running the outdoor Hue lights. A bit pricey but clean integration with everything else going on in my house. Amazon warehouse (where I got mine) often has decent discounts.
