I did a search but couldn’t really find what I was looking for. I bought 4 of the Sylvania Smart+ LED light strips for above and below my kitchen cabinets. Is there a way, or what is the best way to tie all 4 of them together? I would like to be able to turn them all on or off at the same time. If I change the color, I want them all to change, etc. I couldn’t find any way to link or group them in SmartThings. I do use WebCore as well if that is the best way. SYLVANIA SMART+ ZigBee Indoor Starter Kit, Color Changing Light Strip, Works with SmartThings, Wink, and Amazon Echo Plus

There's something called zigbee rbgw bulb grouper that I use. Might be an easier way. But you use a simulated rgbw bulb as the master. To control them all

Once they're hooked into SmarThings either use the mirror functionality in the SmartLighting app to make them all follow one of them or - use Lighting Groups or use the TrendSetter SmartApp to create a virtual lamp that when you set it - they all do the same thing. Personally I use TrendSetter.

@anatolia7046 using the mirror function almost works. Seems to turn on, off, dim, etc. They don’t seem to change color though. I have to go into each one to set the color.

@scrawl99595 well that's a shame. Guess its trendsetter then.

@anatolia7046 where do I find trendsetter?

@anatolia7046 thank you very much

Look for an RGBW splitter on Amazon if you are connecting to a single power outlet. If you are plugging them into separate outlets you will need to do this in software.

@balzer the most you can have is 20 ft on a power supply and I have 36 ft of length so split them up.

I used these:

@lemur I would still have multiple power supplies that I want to link together.

Ken, guess it depends on your cabinets configuration. I used one outlet for top with a ZB module one outlet for bottom with a ZB module. 4 total starter kits.

I ended up using 6 starter kits.

I just named mine Kichen Cabinet Lights Stove and Kitchen Cabinet Lights Sink. I turn them on and off and change brightness and color with google by just saying "Kitchen Cabinet Lights" Google sets them both. In ST routines and scenes i just select them both. In a previous house I created a virtual switch. Was going to do that until I accidentally figured out that I don't need to with Google.

Create routine with all devices in that group routine. If you have voice control, say turn group name on.

I use these. Not sure if you could get them to work with Smartthings. They have a separate app and work great with 1000 different color options. I have three connected to three separate rgb light strips. And I highly recommend them. Works great.

They link to eachother for one but if you wanted you can get a 5-pin light strip connector from Amazon if you wanted to split or bridge a gap.

There's a smart app in the market place called "color coordinator". You set a master device, and slave devices. The slaves all follow whatever the master does

Thank you, that seems to work perfectly.

Add the simple smart app called “color coordinator”. That lets you set one light as a master and others as subordinates. Whatever you do with the master gets mirrored to the subs. It’s perfect for what you want.

Thank you, that seems to work perfectly.
