RBoy apps: I’m considering a move from ethayer/Lock Manager to RBoy LUM. Erik Thayer isn’t updating his SmartApp, and it doesn’t play too nicely with the New ST app. So. 1) Does LUM work with full features in New ST? 2) What are the steps to make this switch? Can I simply delete Lock Manager, install LUM, and go? Will LUM pull existing codes from the locks? 3) How does LUM do w webCoRE, or what do I need to know? Thanks!

From their web page: Installing this SmartApp will clear existing codes and users should only be programmed through the SmartApp for security purposes. NOTE: Please ensure that your lock is within 20ft of a buffering device CLEAR CODES IMPORTANT NOTE: Please reset your lock or follow this "Clear Codes" procedure after you install the SmartApp, on adding a new lock or if you need to reset all user codes on your lock: Make sure your lock is within 20ft of a buffering device (hub does not buffer) After installing the SmartApp, open the SmartApp on your ST mobile app (under Automations) Set the number of users to 0 and open the Configure Users page and confirm there are no users Go back and set the number of users you want to program (e. g. 10), open the Configure Users page and confirm all users show < blank > Click on Done/Save and wait for a few minutes for the lock to clear all the codes

@algonquin6112 - I guess it depends on the lock. I have a zwave Schlage lock so I have some zwave light switches near my lock to extend the zwave mesh to reach it.

I just switched for a customer of mine. You have to make sure you change the device handler to "z wave lock" . other than that it's been flawless for what they need.

Basically I deleted all user codes and reset the lock as to factory. (Not sure that was necessary). the main thing was the device handler.
