Question

Having issues switching SmartThings hub that I set up on wifi over to an ethernet connection directly to a router. What am I doing wrong? Can't seem to figure it out. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Is there a proper way to make this transition?

Some say that if you initially setup via wifi, then switched to wired ethernet, you need to reset your ST hub for the ethernet to "stick"

@jennine76 is right. I tried wifi when I first got mine, was never able to get it switched over. Did a hard reset and bam RJ45 1st and wifi if it failed. I didn't have anything connected when I did it, so I don't know about the adding everything back :(
